Two Decades of Tangible Community Building
Established in 1996 E.C. (~2003/2004 G.C.) with an initial registered capital of 40 Million ETB, the Wolete housing development served as the cornerstone of ZenebeFirew Real Estate’s national reputation. Developed across a 90,000 m² master parcel, the project delivered standalone villas and six architectural typologies of G+1 duplex townhomes. Documented empirically in academic research at Addis Ababa University, the Wolete community verified the developer’s capacity to execute complex, multi-year residential contracts and deliver real keys into buyers’ hands.
Spanning 90,000 m² in the peaceful foothills beneath Mount Wechecha, the Wolete estate delivered standalone villas and six distinct typologies of G+1 duplex townhomes. It proved ZenebeFirew Real Estate's ability to manage large-scale horizontal infrastructure, private compound land allocations, and long-term customer relationships.
The delivery of the Wolete housing scheme is documented in graduate thesis research at Addis Ababa University (AAU-ETD: Eleni Shibru, 2019), evaluating customer relations and infrastructure development across the 1997–2010 E.C. construction window.
